v Podere San Giusto

An Agritourismo farm now converted into lovely, self-catering 4-person apartments.

Situated outside the village of San Martino in the hills 5km above Figline providing fantastic views and a very relaxing location.

Extensive gardens, 15m swimming pool and with farm produce available locally.

It is fully equipped and spacious.

Weekly and fortnightly lets.

v Villa Palagina

A splendid 16th Century villa, originally a Middle Age convent, and is of a very high quality surrounded by their own farmland and with great views across the valley.

Once owned by the family of Bettino Ricasoli who was a wealthy baron and twice head of the government of Kingdom of Italy in the 19th Century.

Has 16 beautifully furnished rooms and 3 suites. All are fully equipped with private bathroom and satellite TV. Some also have a private Jacuzzi.

There are two swimming pools and lovely sun terraces.

Very tempting menu choices in restaurant, from local, fresh produce.

v Hotel Del Lago

As name suggests it is besides a lake onto which it has its own private beach. This lake is remnant of when the whole valley was basically a inland sea

The hotel is situated in a quiet and pleasant spot at the intersecting district boundaries of Florence, Siena and Arezzo. o Comfortable, modern rooms with private bathrooms and TV.

10 minutes drive from Figline (they have a minibus to people lifts to/from the town and train station).

v Hotel Villa Casagrande

Built into the original town walls of Figline the villa dates back to the 14th Century. Over the centuries the villa has played host to Pope Leone X and members of the Italian and Spanish royal families.

The interior of the villa is an artistic gem adorned with art treasures, paintings, frescoes, sculptures and coats of arms.

The rooms, which have recently been individually restored, feature beautiful modern facilities carefully chosen to tastefully harmonise with the historical atmosphere of the villa.

The restaurant offers typical Tuscan cuisine and diners may eat either in the medieval dining room or outside in the beautiful cloister next to the Renaissance Garden.

The hotel also has a covered swimming pool, gym and sauna.

Self-catering apartments, built within the original town walls, are also available to rent on a weekly basis.

v Casa Il Chianti

Located in the lovely small village of Dudda, in the Chianti hills midway between Greve and Figline.

The friendly owners live on site and also run the adjacent bed and breakfast. Meals prepared by the owners using healthy local ingredients are available.

Swimming pool, terrace with panoramic views, flower-filled garden, vineyard and small children's playground.

The apartment is fully furnished and can accommodate 4-6 people.

Bed and breakfast and half-board accommodation is also available in double room with en-suite facilities.

Price includes three speciality evenings - Tuscan dinner, Wine tasting in a 14th century villa and Italian Ice-cream party.

To fully enjoy your visit to Chianti on the accommodation only options we recommend you bring your own transport. Advice on routes from the main channel ports can be provided if required. Alternatively you can fly to Pisa and hire a car. We can advise you on rates and contacts.
