The Blackpool Nocturne returned in 2010 on Saturday
21st August with a new circuit, providing another spectacular evening of
racing and entertainment under the illuminations of the
North promenade and Blackpool Tower.
Dean Downing, the
UK circuit race specialist , took an impressive victory
in front of a packed Blackpool crowd for the final race
of the 2010 Nocturne Series.

“The new Blackpool Nocturne circuit is going to be
visually stunning,” said James Pope from organisers Face
Partnership. “The Brilliance light show will create a
tunnel of lights and music which will create an extra
dimension to the racing and will look fantastic once the
darkness falls.”

The highlight of the race programme will once again
be the
Elite Criterium as the top British
teams take on a range of international challengers.
An Olympic Champion and Tour de France stage winner will
be amongst the stars of the Blackpool Nocturne Elite
Criterium on Saturday 21st August.
