Events is an event management, promotion and cycle activity operation.
In particular we specialise in organising events that promote healthy
lifestyles, physical activity and encourage cycling.
Pennine
Events was set up by Mark Sandamas in November 2002 drawing on experience
and contacts from over 14years in the events and health profession.
We have grown year on year and have recently incorporated
Healthstart Ltd into the business to further extend our range of
services and events.
Over
the past year we have organised Elite Series & Premier Calendar
Cycle Races, major Sportive Rides, Corporate Cup team runs, City
Centre Cycle Shows, Food Festivals, mass-participation rides, major
health festivals and many other cycle, health and tourism events.
We were also involved in the Tour de France 2007 running the crowd
management operation for Kent.
We
operate cycle promotional roadshows, run guided cycle rides and
training, produce cycle route leaflets and offer a free cycling
advice service.
We also
have extensive experience of delivering major projects and events
including large multi-day music and arts festivals, residential
multi-sports camps, fundraising strategies and campaigns, PR and
marketing campaigns, corporate travel and incentive events.
Our
clients include local authorities such as Lancashire County Council,
Kent County Council, Oldham MBC, Manchester City Council and Pendle
Borough Council; Primary Care Trusts such as South Sefton &
Liverpool PCT; private sector companies such as the Isle of Man
Steam Packet Company; and other organisations such as the Heart
of Mersey campaign and British Cycling.
We are
based in Barnoldswick, beautifully located twixt the South Pennines
, Yorkshire Dales and Pendle, and operate throughout the North.
