Actress Gemma Atkinson supports the Night Rides and said:

"Heart disease touched my life when I was 17 years old and I lost my dad to heart disease. He was just 52 years old and led a healthy and active life. I’m determined to help raise money and awareness so that others don’t have to go through what I have." hy and active life. I’m determined to help raise money and awareness so that others don’t have to go through what I have."

Following on from the success of our very first Night Ride for British Heart Foundation we are delighted to be running two in 2012 starting with the famous London-Brighton.

Ride 60 miles through starlit countryside, leaving the hustle and bustle of London behind you, and let the breaking dawn lead you to Brighton's Madeira Drive.

The Night Ride is no ordinary bike ride. Not only will you be cycling through the night, you’ll be bringing hope to millions of people living with heart failure. The money you raise will go towards BHF’s most ambitious research project to date: their Mending Broken Hearts Appeal.

Olympic cycling hopeful Andy Tennant is a keen supporter of the Night Ride. He says "Just remember that you're cycling to give hope to millions worldwide and, with every mile and every penny that you raise, you're helping to fund research that could begin to literally ‘mend broken hearts’ in as little as ten years time."

The route will be fully signed and with Pennine Events extensive ride support operation. There will be three feed stations and

optional transport from Brighton pre and post ride.

This goes through to an external site which is beyond the control of Pennine Events.
