The Night of Neon is a 10K evening walk in Salford Quays, which we organise on behalf of Christie's, the charity for The Christie Hospital.

Night of Neon is a chance to get together, have fun and help stomp out cancer. But it is much more than that, the Night of Neon is simply unique.

With fantastic entertainment to really get the party started and a course brought to life by music and dance, this really is an event not to be missed!

This year over 325 people entered the walk, and raised over £22,000 for The Christie.

Coronation Street stars Michelle Keegan and Julia Haworth added a glamourous glow to The Christie’s ‘Night of Neon’. Michelle, who plays Tina McIntyre and was recently crowned soap’s sexiest female, and Julia, who plays Claire Peacock in the programme, kick-started the 10km walk around Salford Quays in aid of The Christie charity.

Michelle, whose grandmother was treated at The Christie, one of Europe’s leading cancer centres, for ovarian cancer, said; “I know first hand what a special place The Christie is and how their dedicated staff work tirelessly everyday to help cancer patients.
