They All Did It!

 

Nearly 100 intrepid, fundraising, adventuring and smiling participants battled through unseasonally cold and windy weather to ride over 130miles from Bournemouth to Brighton raising over £25,000 for Asthma UK in the process. Passing through the outstanding New Forest, riding alongside the famous ponies, through lovely quiet lanes, picturesque villages and countryside after leaving the coast in Bournemouth, the hills of the South Downs were overcome with a steely determination.

 

 

Fun and games, along with good food and drink, at the overnight camp eased the sore legs before once again getting in the saddle. Once atop Devil’s Dyke for the group photos it was literally downhill all the way to the finish on Brighton Prom.
