Women’s Tour of Britain

The women’s Tour of Britain was a 6-stage cycling race across 6 different locations with stage 2 being held in Walsall town. Stage two of the AJ Bell race was a 100km race around a circuit in the town centre It was a day spent celebrating Women in sport and the culture of Walsall with three fan zones to support the race as well and celebrate the people and town.

It was the first mass participation event in Walsall for several decades and so Pennine Events were brought in to provide support on all elements of the event from traffic management and safety management to production planning and site management.
