Light Up Lancaster

Light up Lancaster is a light festival as part of the worldwide ‘Winter lights’ programme that invites 45,000+ visitors to explore the historic city of Lancaster at night.

The annual event is delivered over 2 days and incorporates the ‘Grand finale’ of bonfire night fireworks, from the historic Lancaster Castle.

The key objective for the event is bringing positive social wellbeing as well as an economic one to excel spend and tourism into the historic city.

The PE team has been the trusted delivery partner of the event for over 3 years and works closely with multiple stakeholders, partners and organisations to create a smooth flowing, well-positioned, and safe event for all to enjoy, with tangible ROI.
