Pennine Events are honoured to have been a part of the service held on Remberance Sunday in honour and memory of all the soldiers who have fallen for our country and freedom. Including a 2-minute silence, a huge poppy drop and a military parade, the event has become one of the largest of its kind in the UK.
This year’s service took place at the Liverpool Cathedral, where members of the public gathered to pay their respects and tribute to the thousands of soldiers we lost to wars. Veterans, soldiers, and relatives also attended the event, paying tribute to their experiences and passed friends and family.
Pennine Events felt privileged to be a part of the day, overseeing the safety of the event and everybody who attended. Sometimes, working on events like these are the most empowering experiences in the events industry. The impact this day has on numerous people is truly amazing.
Lest We Forget.
