A legend from cycling’s illustrious past, Francesco Moser, was honoured by a special Sportive and Gala Dinner held in Essex on 20^th September 2015, at which the former World Champion also participated. Pennine Events were engaged by Vic Haines, himself a former Time Trial champion and a good friend of Moser, to provide consultancy services and also to produce the event website. Moser has had his own sportive in his home region of Trento for many years attracted thousands of cycle fans keen to ride and meet the stylish Italian whose career also included winning the Giro D’Italia, several Classics and holding the World Hour Record for many years. Vic was keen to establish an English version, to the same calibre and was recommended to Pennine Events by people in the industry. It has been a pleasure to work with Vic and help bring his vision and plans to reality.
