Pennine Events & GEM Events aims to accelerate the change in behaviour and mindset towards a cleaner and more inclusive future and aim to work with partners who can deliver actions and innovations that contribute towards Scotland’s net-zero emissions goals.

As an SME based in the North-west of England, operating for 20 years amidst a constantly challenging and dynamic events industry, it is a true example of entrepreneurship, leadership, and creative business management. It is exemplar how our small business made it through the Covid19 pandemic where events were on hold for over a year and decimated the industry. But, with sheer grit and dedication, we have come back with a bang and a world-class team; bringing together an unrivalled level of knowledge and experience in live events. We are ecstatic to play a part in uniting the cycling world and want to deliver a vibrant, inspiring and all-inclusive event for everyone through the power of the bike.” – Alissa Koopal, CEO of Pennine Events

It is extremely exciting to be looking forward to a brand-new challenge this year, after a long period of recovery in the industry. Having delivered several UCI Cycling World Championships in the past we understand how integral the next few months will be and look forward to delivering excellence across the board once again.” – Stuart Gladstone, Director of GEM Events
