Hundreds gathered to enjoy the thrill of Abseiling off one of the UK’s most amazing buildings and raising money for charity in the 2021 Liverpool Cathedral Abseil.

Running across 4 weekends in July, hundreds experienced the thrill of abseiling off one of the UK’s most amazing buildings, the iconic Liverpool Cathedral. Descending 150ft, free hang from above the great West Door, some people faced fears, some revelled in the excitement- all raising money for some amazing charities and causes.

Approximately £100,000 was raised for 97 charities including Slow Down for Bobby, Marie Currie, Alder Hey and The Prices Trust. Some fundraising and participation were corporate, some were volunteers from the charities, and some were members of the public who have been directly affected by the charities’ work and wanted to give back. All fundraising was greatly appreciated and will help some brilliant causes.
