Bringing almost a lifetime of expertise in all aspects of Live events planning, implementation and delivery -combined with a true passion for sports- Mark founded Pennine Events Ltd over 18 years ago, and continues to be a leading figurehead in the industry for some of the UK’s largest and most complex project and events. Mark also champions and supports the industry as whole, through his council seat with the National Outdoor Association (NOEA) and is also managing director of C2C Packhorse, the leading operator of holidays and tours on the World-famous Coast to Coast trail.

With over 10 years in the industry, Alissa brings an unrivalled creative, entrepreneurial, and commercial edge to each project and acts as a sounding board and strategy lead for many clients and organisations.

She has worked with top level clients and developed experiences and initiatives that are still hailed as key examples of success.

Keith

Rice

After retiring from the police force, Keith has brought unparalleled expertise to some of the UK’s largest Live events. From working for the London Organising Committee of the Olympics Games (LOCOG), through to Mega music events, The Queen’s diamond Jubilee celebrations, and much more. Keith is the definition of a wise owl in the industry, and also develops and delivers training to large organisations and local authorities in multiple disciplines, such as SAG, brings an MSc in events Management and is a technical member of IOSH.

Pollyanna

Roberts

Polly is a professional and passionate major sports event manager, who relishes event management and the impact she can make to help deliver some of the UK’s most exciting and prolific events such as Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games. Qualified in IOSH Managing Safely and spectator safety, Polly has worked at numerous international, national, regional, and local events, and led multi-disciplinary teams on major projects. Polly brings a distinguished calmness to the chaos of the industry, with her excellent leadership, meticulous planning, event safety, problem-solving and creative skills. Her passion to make a real difference in the methods of event management and delivery, makes her an asset to the team at Pennine Events.

Marie-Lou

Within the last 10+ years, Marie-Lou implemented new artist liaison practices at grassroots festival, Threshold Festival of Music & Arts as well as improving processes for staffing for match day events at LFC.  Marie-Lou brings a unique perspective to delivering events when combining her passion for arts and culture in the local community and her experience working in both customer-facing and operational roles at high profile festivals such as Glastonbury, Boomtown, Outlook and Dimensions Festival, Parklife, and Liverpool Sound City.

Sophie

Taylor

Recently graduated from university and possessing a range of marketing and corporate event experience, Sophie brings the latest knowledge of the marketing industry and trends to Pennine Events. Sophie completed her dissertation around the concept of non-traditional marketing techniques and the ethical implications attached as well as their effect on brand image and consumer behaviour, adding a creative and innovate edge to all she does at the company.

Alistair

On request of Merseyside Police, Alistair has been designated as Silver Command Liaison for major events within the City of Liverpool within the Merseyside Police Silver Command room. Alistair brings a wealth of experience, with over 20 years in the industry. His key experience lies within health & safety management, risk management and meticulous operational planning for major events.
