Congratulations to more than 8,500 riders who took
part in Pedal for Scotland 2012.
freshnlo Pedal for Scotland is Scotland’s
biggest bike ride. Having started in 1999 as a small
Glasgow to Edinburgh bike ride, the event has now grown
into one of the biggest participation events in
Scotland.
Mark Beaumont and Keith Brown; Scotland's Minister
for Transport start the Challenge Ride in true Scottish
style, to the sound of pipes as the sunrises over
Glasgow Green.
Glasgow Green was invaded by families, friends and
work groups ready to ride between Scotland's largest
cities for the fourteenth annual Pedal for Scotland bike
ride. After pedalling across Scotland, the welcoming end
point took them right through Murrayfield Stadium to the
finishing line!
