Team Sky Launch
January 2010
Making the news headlines
and live TV with our first
event of the year as we
organised all of the Team
Sky launch rides and Parade
around central London on 4th
January. Led by the likes of
Bradley Wiggins, Geraint
Thomas, Edvald Boasson
Hagen, Juan Antonia Flecha
and Ben Swift, nearly 300
competition winners joined
in 3 rides into St James's
Park from Regents Park,
London Eye and Guildhall.
With the Sky News helicopter
filming overhead we had some
great scenes as the Pro's
rode to work at the 'first
day in the office'. Then we
had 3 laps of a circuit
around the Park taking in
the world famous sights of
Buckingham Palace,
Horseguards Parade, the Mall
- our ride leaders at times
took on the role of tour
guides to the foreign riders
in the Team!
