9000 cyclists

Choosing from three rides to suit all ages and experience.

51 Mile Classic Route

The legendary original freshnlo Pedal for Scotland ride, the Glasgow to Edinburgh bike ride attracts thousands of cyclists every year thanks to its classic combination of a great route, brilliant atmosphere and free food and drink.

100 Mile Sportive

The freshnlo Pedal for Scotland Sportive was a brand new ride of 100 miles from Glasgow to Edinburgh. The route took riders through the Southern Uplands and down into Edinburgh passing through 7 local authorities and incorporating the best sections of numerous Scottish cycle racing circuits, including the A77 10 Mile Time Trial, sections of the Moscow APR and the Strathaven Anderside Classic, incorporating steep climbs around Muirkirk and undulating stretches across wild moorland.

Off Road Family Ride

The Family Ride turned out, as promised, to be a great day out for parents with young children or those new to cycling. The ride was free to enter, and in addition to the joys of traffic free cycling there were loads of other great reasons to come along, including live music and entertainment.
