
'Pedal for Scotland' wins TWO marketing society
awards!

Cycling Scotland's
annual Glasgow to Edinburgh bike
ride
freshnlo Pedal for Scotland beat off strong competition
on Friday to win two gold awards at the
Marketing
Society's Star Awards.
Pennine Events work in partnership with Cycling Scotland
to deliver the acclaimed cycling event.
The event, which attracted 7000 riders in 2009, won the
top prize for Event Excellence and also scooped the
highest accolade for Best SME Marketing.

It was a fab, black-tie evening
and the celebrations lasted well into the early hours!
It was a really nice accolade to win.

The Marketing Society Awards
The
Marketing Society Star Awards are central to
promoting excellence and the vision of helping build a
world class marketing community in Scotland. These
awards were judged by a wide cross section of senior
marketers across most sectors in our community. The
panels were chaired by Hugh Burkitt, Chief Executive of
The Marketing Society.
Winning at the Scottish Event Awards
Pedal for Scotland 2009 has also scooped awards at the
Scottish Event Awards for Best Event Management and Best Sporting Leisure
Award.
