Sir Chris Hoy supports local SkyRides
Sky and British Cycling,
with help from Olympian Sir Chris Hoy,
today launched the return of Sky Ride - the free
family-oriented mass participation cycling events in 10
cities and smaller local rides
taking place across the UK including during the
cottages4you Pendle Cycle
Fest.

Sir Chris Hoy and model/actress Kelly Brook supporting
SkyRide
cottages4you Pendle Cycle Fest includes various
SkyRide local rides running from May to September.
Sky Ride Local rides are small group cycle rides
designed to get everyone cycling regularly in a fun and
informal way. These are free rides, led by British
Cycling trained ride leaders, who will guide
participants along the route, and provide tips and
advice on cycle safety and skills.
Rides vary in levels, from beginners to more
experienced cyclists, so you can pick a level to suit
your skills and enjoyment. Whatever level you choose,
you'll be riding on safe routes, with your ride leaders.
And if you haven't dusted off your bike for a while,
they'll happily check it over for you.

Sky Ride Local is about as much fun as you can have
on two wheels. But groups are limited, so you have to
register.
