Events



The largest cycle ride in Scotland, with over 7000 entries last time. There will be a new Sportive and Family Ride added to the 55mile route between Glasgow. Organised on behalf of Cycling Scotland.

 

Registration Open

freshnlo Pedal for Scotland is now open for registration for 2010

Challenge Ride – the classic 51 mile Glasgow to Edinburgh Challenge.
Sportive Ride – a 100 mile Glasgow to Edinburgh route aimed at the keen road cyclist.
Family Ride – a short off-road ride for families, youngsters and new cyclists.

Transport
There is a limited amount of transport provision and Pedal for Scotland cannot guarantee places for late entrants.

A coach service will run at regular intervals until 9am to take riders to the start at Glasgow. A return service from the finish at Edinburgh will also be available from 12 noon.

The last coach will leave from the finish point at 7pm.
 
Bikes are transported by truck; bubble wrap will be available if you wish to wrap your bike for transportation.
 
The transport provision for Pedal for Scotland is an optional extra, entrants are required to book this service beforehand. The entry fee does not include transport. Transport cost is an additional £15.
