Crowd Management
Pennine Events have devised and implemented Crowd
Management Plans and the related Risk Assessments for a
range of events.
The largest and most high profile was for the Tour de
France Stage 1 through Kent in July 2007. The company
was brought in to devise and implement the crowd
management operation for stage 1 of the world’s biggest
annual sporting event. This successfully saw 2 million
people watch the event live in safety with no incidents.
We were subsequently awarded a Commendation by the
Metropolitan Police for our work.
