Pedal for Scotland wins prestigous 'Best Event Management' & 'Best Sports Event' Awards!

Some of Scotland’s most innovative and cutting-edge events organisers were honoured on the 11.09.09 at an awards ceremony in Glasgow.

 

Scottish Event Awards

Pennine Events work in partnership with Cycling Scotland who won not one, but two of the highly acclaimed Scottish Event Awards.

 

The 'Best Event Management' Award

was awarded to Cycling Scotland for the  Pedal For Scotland campaign.

The 'Best Leisure Sporting Event' Award

was also won by Cycling Scotland for the hugely successful mass participation, Pedal for Scotland, cycling event.

 

2010

Pennine Events are currently working with Cycling Scotland to ensure that the 2010 Pedal for Scotland is an even bigger and better event!

 

Commendation for the Tour de France, Crowd Management

Pennine Events were awarded a Commendation from the Metropolitan Police for the crowd management of 2 million people attending the Tour de France.

The award was made in recognition of outstanding contribution and support during the planning and implementation of the Tour de France.
